MLSP System – How to Get Into Profit Mode

When I talk to people who find me through My Lead System Pro I often suggest they use the MLSP system to generate their own leads online. It obviously works well–that’s how they found me, right?

Occasionally, though, someone will say something like, “Yeah, but it’s expensive.”

That’s when I have to break out the mathematics and show them the light.

Here’s how it breaks down.

When you get started with MLSP you’ll pay around $30 for a training DVD plus full access to the system for a month. Then every month you continue to use the system you’ll pay around $50 to remain a subscriber.

But here’s what many people looking at the MLSP system are missing: a lot of the leads you bring in with MLSP will want to use MLSP, too. In fact, I’ve found about 1 out of 20 of your leads will subscribe to MLSP on their own.

That’s right. As in “without talking to me”. Pretty cool, huh? (I like to call all of my MLSP leads to connect with them, of course, and you should too.)

What does all this mean from a compensation perspective, though?

When one of your leads gets started with MLSP and get their DVD plus full month of access, you’ll get paid $9. After 4 of your leads do this, you’ll have made $36, more than paying for your DVD and first month of access.

When your leads continue as MLSP system subscribers, you’ll get paid $15 for every month they remain subscribed. So if 4 of your leads are ongoing subscribers you’ll be getting $60 per month which more than covers your monthly $50 fee.

Of course, this isn’t even mentioning all the income that’s possible from the many affiliate commissions that are built into MLSP. That’s turned into a sweet little side income for me above and beyond the monthly MLSP checks I get.

Is it hard to get 4 people to use My Lead System Pro and get you into profit mode? Well, the cool thing is you don’t need to “get” them to do anything. Like I said, a certain percentage will get started on their own without any help from you. They’ll see what you’re doing and they’ll want to do the same thing.

I got my first 4 within my first month or so of using the system. The more leads you bring in through the system, the more will want to use the system themselves.

If you talk to your leads about MLSP and they happen to say, “Yeah, it looks a bit expensive,” just send them to this blog post and they’ll realize it’s not expensive at all. Or make your own blog post explaining the same thing.

Tell them once they get their 4 then their MLSP system is paid for. Many will say, “Oh, that makes sense!” and get started.

My Lead System Pro – 7 Tips for Success

In case you didn’t know, My Lead System Pro (formerly known as MLM Lead System Pro) is a lead generation system for network marketers to create targeted MLM leads for their business. I’ve been using this MLM lead generation system (which I rebranded as MLMLeadMachine.com) for a while and I’ve been answering a lot of questions from people looking into the system and from people just getting started with the system. I’ve compiled here the seven tips that I share most frequently with people who are looking to succeed with My Lead System Pro (MLSP).

Here they are:

1. Get Your System Set Up Within 48 Hours

You can easily set up your MLSP system in a lot less than 48 hours. In fact, you could get it all configured in an afternoon or less. There’s a step-by-step checklist in the MLSP back office that walks you through the entire process of setting up your system.

The point of this tip is to encourage you to get your system set up right away versus procrastinating and taking many days to get it going. The sooner your system is set up, the sooner you can start your marketing and start getting those leads for your network marketing business.

2. Fill In All of Your Affiliate Codes

MLSP is designed to create multiple income streams for you through the use of affiliate programs. The system will automatically send e-mails to all of your leads to market a wide variety of products and services such as GoDaddy, Magnetic Sponsoring, etc.

Every time one of your leads buys one of these products or services you’ll get a commission but ONLY if you’ve filled in your personal affiliate codes in the MLSP back office. There’s a special section in the back office where you can fill in more than a dozen affiliate codes. Make sure you take the time to obtain and enter these codes or you’ll be leaving a lot of money on the table.

3. Master One Marketing Skill to Start

There are all kinds of ways you can market your MLSP lead capture pages. You can use free methods like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, articles and lots more. Or you can speed up your results with paid marketing methods such as pay per click ads or banner ads. The fact is, there are so many different ways to market your system that it’s easy to get overwhelmed and not know where to start.

I encourage everyone getting started with My Lead System Pro to pick just ONE marketing skill that they want to learn and focus on that skill only for at least the next 60 days. Sixty days may sound like a lot but it takes time to absorb the MLSP marketing training and come up to speed on any skill. And then you need time to practice your new skill and get good at it. Once you start seeing good results from your new skill and you feel comfortable with your knowledge of it, then you can study and master another marketing skill. And then another, and another, etc.

4. Follow-up with Your Leads

As you start applying your marketing methods to your MLSP lead capture pages you’ll begin getting more and more leads. These are your exclusive leads. And even though the system is designed to automatically convert the leads from curiosity-seekers to paid MLSP subscribers, affiliate product buyers and ultimately members of your MLM business team, you can dramatically improve the likelihood of this happening by reaching out to connect with your leads personally.

If your leads provide a phone number that means they want you to call them–so give them a call! Share your experiences with MLSP, answer their questions and suggest they get started with the system so they can start creating their own leads online. What I like to do with all of my leads is to enter their e-mail address into Facebook. If they have a Facebook profile I’ll send them a note thanking them for stopping by my MLSP page and invite them to become a Facebook friend. Take the time to follow-up with all of your MLSP leads and your chances of having them become a customer and a team member go way up.

5. Help Others Get Started

Now that you’ve been using the MLSP system for a while and you’ve had success creating your own MLM leads you’re in a perfect position to help your new MSLP customers get their systems set up. Just calling them and encouraging them to get started is often all it takes. You’ll sometimes get asked questions about specific items but you’ll know the answer because you’ve already been through the process.

If you ever run into a question you can’t answer there’s always the MLSP forums where the question can be asked and if that doesn’t work you or your customer can just open a ticket with MLSP Support. You want your My Lead System Pro subscribers to be completely satisfied and getting good results with the system because if the system is providing value to them they’ll stay subscribed which means a continuous income stream for you.

6. Create a Personal Video for Your Primary Business

An important part of the MLSP automatic sales process is when your leads get exposed to your primary business. This is primarily done through a video that you link to in your My Lead System Pro back office. The mistake I see a lot of people making, though, is they’ll select a canned video from their network marketing company as the video they ask their leads to watch.

First of all, most of your leads won’t be interested in watching a canned video promoting a company they probably aren’t interested in. But more importantly, you’re passing up the opportunity to build additional rapport with your prospects when showing them a video that has nothing to do with you personally.

Instead, I encourage everyone to create a personal video for your primary business. This video should feature you explaining the benefits you’ve gotten through your MLM business, why you think your network marketing business can benefit the prospect, how you can help them succeed, etc. This approach is a whole lot more personal than some canned video from your MLM company and is a lot more likely to be watched and get results.

7. Never Quit!

This is the most important tip of all! Most people using MLSP don’t realize that your MSLP system creates a harmless text file called a cookie in the browser of all of your leads. This means that if someone becomes one of your MLSP leads but doesn’t decide to become a paying subscriber right away, they are still connected to you through your cookie. So if they decide six months later to get started with MLSP you’ll get the credit and commissions, even if they go to ten other MLSP lead capture pages in the meantime.

This is why quitting MLSP after getting a bunch of leads in a few months would be a big mistake. A percentage of those leads are likely to get started with MLSP in the future and you want to be actively using the system when they do. Besides, considering it takes such a small number of subscribers to more than cover the monthly cost of MLSP you might as well stay in as long as the subscription is being paid for. You’ll be making a lot more than that if you follow these tips, though!

Who is Dani Johnson, anyways?

Dani Johnson is one of the most well known stories to come out of the world of Network Marketing. For a period of time in my business, I had a lot of people in my team using the Dani Johnson script book. While it certainly was successful for those who were good with it, it actually made some people worse at recruiting because the process was so ‘against their grain.’ In short, the script book is definitely not the solution for everyone, while it certainly provides effective strategies for certain people.

The other thing to consider if you want to work with Dani’s script book is where you buy your leads.

The script book certainly does work for those who are trained and practice a great deal with it. However still need quality prospects to talk to. Most MLM trainers would recommend that you purchase leads from lead vendors and ‘cold-call’ them. Working with purchased leads can be frustrating, expensive, and a poor use of time unless you are a ‘Ninja’ at recruiting.

A more cost effective strategy with the internet today is learning how to generate your own leads, who know who you are and are expecting a phone call from you. Those people much more easy to recruit, and it takes less time and is easier for your team to learn.

Consider creating a strong, simple and effective attraction marketing system into your business – you’ll be on your way to recruiting more distributors faster than you ever have dreamed possible!

Multi Level Marketing Blog – 5 Reasons Why You Need One

Of all the online techniques you can use to build your network marketing business, a multi level marketing blog is by far the most effective. That’s why it’s the first thing I recommend my new team members do when they ask how to build their business online.

Why is an MLM blog so important? Here are five reasons:

1. Creates trust. Trust is fundamental to any business relationship and network marketing blogs can create trust quickly. If your content is relevant to your readers and provides value, then they will begin to trust you and your opinions. You’ll build a consistent readership and people will start following you on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social networking sites. If you’re new to network marketing then blog about your experience learning the business. No matter how new you are there are plenty of people who haven’t started yet, looking for someone to follow.

2. Creates credibility. Even though setting up a blog can be done in mere minutes by anyone with a computer and Internet access, most people view blogs as being written by experts. If you have a blog on network marketing then many of your readers are going to figure you must know what you’re talking about–even if you just got started in your business last week. The more content you have and the more consistent your posts are, the more credible you appear in the eyes of your readers. That’s why I encourage people on my team to start blogging sooner rather than later.

3. Allows you to interact with your readers. Multilevel marketing blogs are perfect platforms for engaging with people and building relationships with them. If your content is interesting, valuable and compelling you’ll probably get comments from your readers. Reply to comments in your MLM blog as a first step to engage with your readers. In many cases, as the blog owner you can see the e-mail address of the people leaving comments. Put that address in Facebook and see if they have a profile there. Say “Thanks for stopping by my blog!” when you request to be their Facebook friend. Engaging with your readers proves you are a real person and your prospects will be more likely to do business with you if you’re friendly and approachable.

4. Provides training to your members. Not only is your multi level marketing blog content great for educating your readers, you can also use it as a platform for training your new team members. Take this article, for instance. Once it’s posted on my blog I’ll forever be able to direct new members of my network marketing team to it to help them understand why MLM blogging is so important. Posting training content on your blog will help streamline and automate your new member training. And if you do it right, you can set your training up in an autoresponder like Aweber and send them a new blog post to study every day without lifting a finger!

5. Creates endless MLM leads. Easily the best reason for having a network marketing blog, though, is that it can automatically collect free MLM leads for your business. Not just a few leads, either. But LOTS of leads. There are some things you need to have in place to pull this off. You need to understand search engine optimization (SEO), online marketing techniques and you need to have some sort of MLM lead capture system in place. If you do it right, you will never have to buy MLM leads to build your business again.

I hope you can see why having an MLM blog is so important to building your business. They help you create credibility and trust; they allow you to engage your readers and build rapport; they are an excellent training platform for your team; and you can build your MLM business from the free leads they generate.

Maybe my story will sound familiar. I resisted setting up an MLM lead generation system for a long time. I was having pretty good results building my network marketing business the traditional way: talking to friends and family, doing a bit of Internet marketing here and there.

Of course, I saw plenty of people using MLM lead generation systems online and I wasn’t interested at first. I thought there would be a conflict between having a lead generation system and my primary MLM. As if I would have to put my network marketing on hold and promote something completely different. That bugged me.

Plus, I thought I could figure it all out on my own. Why should I have someone else teach me things I already knew?

I Saw Something That Made Me Change My Mind

Then I noticed something that made me think again. I had purchased an online marketing course for network marketers (Mike Dillard’s Traffic Formula 2.0) and saw online marketers I respected talk about the benefits of having an online MLM lead generation system.

I realized that not only would it be smart to have a system to generate MLM leads but it would be even smarter to not build this system completely from scratch. I wanted the same results I saw these leaders getting now, not a year from now. That’s when I started looking into ready-made MLM lead systems.

Three Things You Should Know About Your MLM Lead Generation System

In case you are like I was and you’re resisting going the lead generation system route, please consider the following things you might not know.

Your Network Marketing Future Foretold: 20 MLM Predictions for the New Year

Happy New Year! (Well, it’s not the new year yet—but it will be here before you know it and now’s the time to start thinking ahead.) In this article, I’m going to predict your future and forecast exactly what kind of results you’re going to get in your MLM business over the next 12 months.

What if I could take out my crystal ball and predict with 99% precision exactly what kind of results you will achieve with your network marketing business by year’s end?

Well, no problem, I can do that.

I could claim that I have some kind of “gift” for this, but to be honest, you and I don’t need to be psychic to make predictions like these.

There are two things you can always count on: (1) Nature’s laws of cause and effect, and (2) human nature.

On that basis, here are my 20 predictions for your MLM business in the New Year:

1. I PREDICT that if you can reach into your pocket on any day this year and pull out a card or piece of paper with all your network marketing goals written on it in vivid detail, the odds are 95 to 1 in favor of you achieving every one of those goals before the year is out.

2. I PREDICT that if you focus your thoughts on your goals and how you are going to achieve them, all day long, you will reach your goals so fast this year it will make your head spin. “What you focus on expands”.

3. I PREDICT that if you focus your thoughts on problems you’ve had in your MLM business and if you think about what you don’t want all day long, your problems will get worse than ever this year.

4. I PREDICT that if you made a new year’s resolution, but you didn’t turn it into a specific, written goal with a deadline and a strong reason why you must achieve it, you will freely abandon it the moment the going gets tough.

5. I PREDICT that if you can tell me all the reasons why achieving your network marketing goals are important to you, you will be motivated from within to stick with it when the going gets tough.

6. I PREDICT that at times, the going is going to get tough.

7. I PREDICT that if you can tell me today what your life purpose is and what is your lifelong vision for your MLM business, you will still be as motivated and driven at the end of the year as you were at the beginning.

8. I PREDICT that if you don’t have long term goals and a “big picture” vision for your life that you will lose your New Year’s enthusiasm and motivation in a matter of months or even weeks.

9. I PREDICT that the way you see yourself in your mind’s eye today will be an exact reflection of the leader you are at the end of the year.

10. I PREDICT that if you have a setback that seems to get in the way of you reaching your network marketing goals and you tell yourself “this is just temporary; this too shall pass,” then it will pass and it won’t set you back.

11. I PREDICT that if you believe the fate of your network marketing business is out of your control and you feel helpless or powerless to change it, you won’t even make much of an effort this year.

12. I PREDICT that if you accept complete responsibility for the way you are building your MLM business today and you believe that you have the power to change it, that you will take action and keep taking action, even through the tough times.

13. I PREDICT that if you’re unhappy with the way your network marketing business is going and you say, “it’s not my fault” or you blame it on your company, your product or your compensation plan, then your MLM business will look pretty much the same at the end of this year as it did on New Year’s day.

14. I PREDICT that the more you have patience, a long term perspective and the ability to postpone immediate gratification, the more likely you are to be a success one year from now.

15. I PREDICT that the more you seek the, “perfect company”, “the perfect product” or “the perfect associate”, the more likely you are to be a failure one year from now.

16. I PREDICT that you will be tempted by many get-rich-quick business opportunities this year.

17. I PREDICT that if you hang out with losers and negative people this year, you will become just like them.

18. I PREDICT that if you hang out with winners and positive people this year, you will become just like them.

19. I PREDICT that you will run into more negative people and losers this year than positive people.

20. I PREDICT that if you recruit just one network marketing partner that stands behind you and the business changes you want to make this year, you will double your chances for success. If you surround yourself with numerous network marketing partners, you will become virtually unstoppable.

So how does your MLM business future look for the year ahead?

Based on my “predictions,” if it doesn’t look as bright as you’d like it to be, then don’t worry, because a prediction is not predestination.

You can’t do anything to change the past, but by changing your thoughts, attitudes and actions in the present moment, the future is yours to create!

How to Find Network Marketers in Your Local Area

There are three really good reasons to connect with other network marketers in your local area, even if they’re not in your MLM company.

First, it’s a great way to bond with like-minded people. The only people who can really relate to the unique challenges network marketers face are other network marketers. Making friends and connections with other network marketers is like building your own support team.

Second, by regularly connecting with other MLM business builders you can create what Napoleon Hill in “Think and Grow Rich” calls a “mastermind”. In a mastermind you share ideas and develop solutions that you could have never come up with on your own. Having a mastermind is like hiring your own high-priced coach without paying the high price.

And third, you never know, maybe one of your network marketing connections who is in a different company today ends up joining your team tomorrow. Networking and sales is all about timing. The time might not be right for your MLM connections to join your team right now, but things change. Don’t be surprised if your friend in a non-health network marketing company decides he wants to represent a company like yours that’s helping people get healthy.

You can easily find loads of network marketers in your local area by using Meetup.com. Just go to the Meetup site and search for a meetup group with the term “network marketing” and your zip code. You’ll see all the network marketing meetups in your area.

And if you don’t have a network marketing meetup in your area then you can do what I do: organize your own!

The cool thing about organizing your own meetup is you get to pick what the topics of your meetups will be, where they meet, what day they meet, etc. You have no excuse not to make a meeting!
